MESCALERO, NM (TBD) – Ski Apache officially opens for the 2017-2018 winter season on Friday, Dec. 15. The United States’ southernmost major ski resort will offer limited terrain, with access to Easy Street and Bunny Slope from two chairlifts. Early season conditions are to be expected throughout the mountain. Guests are asked to obey all signs and closures.

“We’re thrilled to be opening in time for the holiday season,” said Justin Rowland, director of operations at Ski Apache. “We’ve got snow in the forecast so we’re expecting to get more coverage soon. In the meantime, we’re looking forward to getting in some turns.”
