Group Planning, Policies and Procedures

Ski Apache is an excellent destination for large family and organizational outings. We endeavor to make your group’s adventure effortless to plan and as affordable as possible. The Mountain is suitable for skiers and snowboarders of all skill levels and Ski Apache offers every service imaginable for group leaders including:

Group Policies

• Groups must include 25 or more skiers to qualify for group rates. NO EXCEPTIONS PLEASE.
• Prepayment is required. Cashier's Checks and Money Orders are accepted up to 72 hours in      advance. Business or Personal Checks or credit cards are accepted up to 10 days before arrival.
• Each skier, under 18 years of age, must provide a Power of Attorney signed by their parent or    guardian. If your organization already uses a similar Power of Attorney, we can accept this form.
• Before You Arrive have skiers under 18 years of age not accompanied by parent or guardian.   Print and complete the Group Worksheet and Power of Attorney forms.

• Make sure if paying by Cashier's Checks and Money Orders that they are received at least 72      hours in advance. If paying by business or personal checks or credit card payments must be received no later than10 days prior to arrival.
• Contact Darcy Grover at dgrover@skiapache.com or (505) 464-3600 with any last minute        changes to expedite your check-in.
• Reservation changes can be made as late as the date of your arrival if necessary.

When You Arrive

• Arrive as early as possible on the first day. This is important for groups renting equipment. Arrive   by 8:00 AM on holidays or during spring break. Equipment is on a first come first serve basis.
• Once your ENTIRE group is gathered on the main deck, the group leader will come to the Special Services window to notify that your group is ready. At this time, last minute changes will be addressed and Power of Attorney forms for your group will be collected.
• A Ski Apache representative will help get your group headed in the right direction and orient you.
• Group leaders are responsible for distributing tickets to late arrivals.
