Help Ski Apache support Disabled Skiers Program.
The race starts at 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm. The race has three absolutely, fun crazy parts. All the contestants will be on the course at the same time! Ladies and Guys welcome to enter! Two Person teams. Entry fee is $20.00 per team. Prizes include Ski Apache Star Pins – Gold, Silver and Bronze. Come help us support a great cause.
THE THREE PARTS OF THE CHALLENGE
The Wine Pour – using bottled water and either plastic wine glasses or paper cups — contestants ski down EZ Street pouring wine into cups/glasses; half way down the trail, they will be given a tray and will finish the run with the glass and bottle on the tray.
In the Clothes Exchange, team members will exchange hats, gloves and jacket while simultaneously skiing down EZ Street.
In the Forwards & Backwards Relay, one team member skis downhill -forward- on EZ Street carrying a baton, that person then exchanges their baton with their teammate in designated area. The teammate with baton will ski backwards to finish line. All Contestants will compete at the same time in each event which will certainly add to the excitement and drama.
That evening, there will be a cocktail party held at Casa Blanca at 6:00pm to honor the cause and the contestants.
