Visit Ski Apache Summertime
Ski Apache in Summer is a beautiful stop on your next warm weather visit to our area as the scenery is breathtaking. The Ski Resort is officially closed but you can access the surrounding area of the Lincoln National Forest from the Main Lodge parking area.

Hike the Trails
A number of hiking trails crisscross the Ski Area and the surrounding forest. One of the best begins at the trail head located adjacent the parking lot entrance. The trail head sits at 9600 feet in elevation and allows hikers to ascend to 11,500 feet to the top of Lookout Mountain where incredible 360-degree vistas await. The hike takes the Ruidoso visitor through mixed conifer forest and above the timberline!
