Fundraising The SADSP organization is funded through fees, a sliding fee schedule, donations and local fund raisers. SADSP is a not-for-profit organization, registered with the state as a charitable organization. The largest fund raiser is the Silent Auction where over 1,000 items are donated by local businesses. SADSP is also the recipient of fund raisers put on by local civic and service organizations including the Elks Club, the El Paso National Ski Patrol, the Knights of Columbus, the Sertoma Club, the Rotary Club and Altrusa. Always held at the end of January, the auction has been going for years and generates over $20,000 annually. Ruidoso’s Organization President Ron Anderson says that the event has grown significantly over the last few years and he is excited at the support that Ruidoso puts toward the kids.
